Their love story started almost 10 years ago at a local restaurant where they worked together. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight, in fact when they first met they really didn’t like each other much at all.
Through the years, they grew to find they had more in common than they thought and became each other’s shoulder to lean on. I’m sure you can figure out the rest.
Mike and Vanessa decided an at home engagement was what they wanted, because like many couples, it’s the place they can be themselves the most. Cafe mocha’s for two and some to-die-for pastries from Cobs Bread, the mood was set.
They listened to their favourite playlist, drank coffee and had a little first dance practice run in their kitchen. Vanessa shared that this was a typical Sunday for them, and I’m sure it’s the day when some of their favourite memories are made.
As they sat and chatted, they realized that that very day was the six month mark until their wedding day. A moment that was shocking, yet so exciting how fast it was coming up. I cannot wait to be their Edmonton wedding photographer at the Royal Glenora this coming summer. Their vision for their wedding is so unique and completely tailored to them and who they are from the colour scheme to their outfits.
