Muttart Conservatory Engagement

He packed their bags, had her work convince her she had a conference out of town for the weekend, bought their tickets, planned an entire weekend of romance and, after proposing over what she thought was a simple breakfast date before she left, drove straight to the airport and flew her to NYC for the weekend. Talk about a proposal story and some serious planning!

There’s just something about Anthony and Seema that I really, truly and sincerely love. Maybe it’s the way they’re always making each other laugh, how they flirt back and forth or something else but they are an absolute joy to be around and get photograph. Anthony and Seema met here in Edmonton, love our sister city just a few hours south and will be getting married this summer in another favourite place of mine, Kelowna. Words really can’t express how excited I am to head back and document another Okanagan wedding! The views are always to die for.

Going into my first official year as an Edmonton wedding photographer, I’ve been dying to shoot a Muttart Conservatory engagement session. The Muttart (pronounced “muh-tart”) is one of Edmonton’s iconic skyline symbols and how couldn’t they be; they’re stunning both inside and out. It’s full of some crazy beautiful and odd looking plants from around the world featured in four different climates, one for each pyramid.

I guess I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking now…
