I always look forward to getting to put on my interior design photographer hat with the Kresswell Interiors team when they have a new project and this Scandinavian Modern home renovation was no different! I have a very specific style when it comes to interior design photography and one of the biggest differences is that I only photograph spaces that are full of natural light and in an editorial fashion — much the opposite of real estate photography.
The Kresswell team renovated most of the main floor including the kitchen to include some gorgeous open shelving, living room with a simple yet stunning fireplace and the dining room with a statement wall that is sure to impress. I love the colour palette that they chose to tie all of the spaces together, even the bold black that helps balance and ground the bright and airy neutral space. They even used the decor and small details like a few black accents in the modern grey kitchen open shelving to really pull it all together!
You can also check out a few of the before photos of the space via the Kresswell Interiors blog. I love how they transformed such a closed off space into this Scandinavian Modern home, that feels cozy yet fresh. I always walk away so inspired by all of their projects that help me design my own home!
