Today, I’m sharing a session from this past summer with the lovely Haiku Lane Jewelry, a jewelry line designed here in Edmonton. Lindsay, the owner, created her brand and pieces to bring more meaning to our everyday lives.
She shares, “I was inspired by my travels to Maui and all of the intricate jewelry designs from the artists on the island. Haiku Lane was born when I realized I couldn’t find any pieces of jewelry that truly spoke to me.”
Lindsay’s brand is the epitome of whimsical and romantic and often incorporates “vintage-inspired elements that are both timeless and beautiful” in her designs.
The main reason Lindsay booked her branding session was to update her website for her rebrand. Along with new images, she was having a new logo and website created that provided a more authentic and professional feel to her brand. As a bonus, all of the images we created were also easily shareable on her social media.
Lindsay’s Haiku Lane shot list included:
- editorial images of women having a picnic with jewelry on
- close up images of necklace stacks, ring stacks, earrings
- Lindsay sketching
- each model on their own in different set up in studio
- lots of movement, spinning, walking, not looking at the camera
- headshots of Lindsay for her about me page
Lindsay, you have an eye like no other when it comes to creating beautiful things be it jewelry, backdrops, studio setups, or outfits. Your creativity is truly inspiring!
