Today, I’m sharing a branding session I’ve been looking forward to for so long with the incredible Patricia Mari Creative, a brand and website designer. The heart and soul that she puts into her client designs is truly like no other. She shares, “I’m here to help you express the full value of your creative work. So you can increase your prices, elevate your client experience, and immerse yourself in your craft while still having room for everything else that lights up your heart.”
I mean, that feels like a heck yes to me! Working with only fine art clients, Patricia has niched herself beautifully within the creative community. She’s even worked with past clients like Haiku Lane Jewelry, one of my wedding industry friends Minted Photography (coming soon) and my copywriter Jenny Roth. It is a SMALL world, ya’ll!
Patricia reached out for a branding session as a means to update her images for her website and social media but in a very special and specific way. She shared that she wanted to capture the most authentic version of herself during her branding session. The woman who was not only a brand and website designer, but also a Mom, a minimalist, a lover of good wine, and your average human, quirks included.
Her list of photo ideas included:
- Launch images for a special project
- Photo with coffee as the main subject
- Wine lover
- Introspective image, journaling
- Reaching for / reading fine art books
- Capsule wardrobe
- Doing calligraphy and brand sketches
- Throwing confetti
After receiving her gallery, Patricia shared:
“I’m looking through the pictures right now and I’m in love! You really have an amazing talent, my friend! I know during our session I was a bundle of nerves but when I look at these images… I see ME. I don’t know how to explain it but these pictures of me look so natural. Like you captured my mannerisms and even my smile looks like me. I don’t know how to put what I’m seeing in words but I know what my fake smile looks like and these are not it – these are authentic smiles that I would give my children and husband. Again, not great with putting my feelings into words but please know that I am so thankful for these and for YOU. I cannot wait to work with you again.”
